What is the market rate for maintenance and allowance to keep a Indo mistress in Batam?
by Fat Joe

Dear all,

I intend to buy a gal out from her present contract and keep her personally in Batam for at least a year.

I INTEND NOT TO OVERPAY OR SPOIL HER IN THAT SENSE AND WILL PAY HER ACCORDING TO WHAT THE MARKET RATE IS PAYING TO MAINTAIN SUCH A INDO GAL AS A MISTRESS IN BATAM. I DO NOT WANT TO SPOIL THE MARKET RATE.

Please advise what are the expected costs:

1. rental of a MODERATE house:

a. what type of house?
b. the square feet?
c. urban or suburban?
d. how long is the contract which we must sign up with the owner?
e. how much to pay to the owner upfront when we sign the contract?
f. how do I get about looking for such a house? Where does the owners place the rental ads or we need to go through a agent? Which are the reliable agents?

2. utilities bill expected per month?

3. her expected monthly marketing and food expenses? The average cost for food and the essentials?

4. The market rate to pay her as "mistress allowance".

Please also advise whether any other other (hidden) costs which I have accidentally left out of ignorance?

Thanks to you bros for your advice in advance.

Regards

Dear Sebastian,

I will await your good advice.

Will there be anyone else staying in the house beside your gal?

I have also heard that there is such a thing as just simply renting a room? Do you know where and at what costs?

Dear Sebastian/Samuel,

I think you have got a very reasonable rate indeed however I would suggest if you can consider to get a place where the gals can sleep in separate rooms and yet she is able to do some cooking whenever she feels like it.

What are your views and what can be the expected cost for such a house or place?

I used to have 1 such a case and I really spend a bomb and it last only 2 months and I surrender,
ok! for the house you can look for room with 1 hall 2 bedroom 1 kitchen and most of all security guard at the entrance above Ramayana shopping, just ask the guard he will show you the room and the office you can speak to. or those money changer they too have house to rent and also GOLDEN PRAWN sea food too have house to rent. lastly before you want to proceed if you have time I will share my experience with you of what happen to me!

The Girl called Honey!
by Marine

I visited Batam since 1988 when my employer started to look for another plant in either Malaysia or Indonesia, later the board decided to pick Batam and I met so many pretty lady from Batam, however I kept the rule straight, "no emotion involvement, its just a game, happen everywhere".
2 years ago or should I said Feb 1999, I met 1 beautiful lady from this place known as Horizon KTV. Her name is Honey, sweet and sticky. The first impression was best and I look forward to see her again, however 2 weeks later when I went back the mamasan told me she went back to Kampong, I feel so boring and decided to let go my dream girl.
2 months later I went to visit my supplier and he suggest we go to Nirwana, I counter suggest to move opposite and there my dream girl sitting at the Bar counter, this time I book her solid 3 days and weekly I visited her at least 3 days, sometime when she is ill I brought her to apotic to see doctor and when is too early (before the KTV open) I visited her mass and 2 months later I asked her how long more is your contract, and how much you need if you are going to my cinta, later I paid up her contract for 4.5 millions rup and 2 million for her monthly expanese, rent 1 beautiful house in Baloi-Mas ( 2 bedroom on 2nd floor with a hall and 1 bedroom below with a kitchen, dinning hall, living hall 2 toliets all with simple furniture, full aircon, a 1 car parking lot, and good security, and most of all this is a chinese area, and food store and market is just 5 mins away. however I found that she kept on complaint she used alot of many and the 2 millions is not enough, in 2 months time I spend almost S$3000 for the house rental for 1 year, S$7,500 on her and S$1,000 on her "contract", is about S$15,000.00 in total for 2 fucking months, best of all when I book her from KTV I could screw her anytime, but after I paid up her contract, I screw her not more than 8 times in 2 months and she kept complaint she is sick and need rest. However my friend from the Indonesia Immegration gave me a help and tail her(she have a lot of LakiLaki at nite when I am not with her)
later she even told me she don like to stay in Baloi-Mas and move to stay with a freelance girl, lastly I found her with a laki and I gave up!
Gentleman, from this exposure I met many of others at least 1 Company(4 Platoon=240++++++men)
who shared the same result.

We are here to enjoy ourself, not to plant our emotion, or love, for S$15,000 how many girls can I book? (292.666666666667 girls which means you can screw 1 everyday and rest on Sunday, and all r different).

So face this, don just calculate now or 1 months, cos rental for 1 month in a Chinese cost you about S$300.00 or more, while 1 year rental you pay about S$220.00 to S$250.00 with everything.
If your girl don want to stay in Town or Area with many people, beware, you may be the next me!

If you need detail of the house I could arrange, I am in Singapore now and will be going to BATAM in this week, I am free from Thursday but not Sunday.

God Bless the lost one!

Wiser not to be involved
by dcindo

That would be the exception rather than the rule.
I was once involved with a Thai girl hooker in Phuket. That was in 1990 when Phuket was not yet an international destination for international events and tourists from Asia and Europe. Between 1986 to about 1993, it was REALLY possible to book girls who were so naive...upper most in their mind(not all of them..lah) is to marry one of the clients and be able to go back to their village or follow the new husband.

This particular girl that I liked, no longer had such hopes, having been in the business several years and jilted. I traveled to Phuket every month for a couple of months. The relationship seem strong. Then a friend suggested that I visit a fortune teller who used cards. This fortune teller had the uncanny ability to tell me where a particularly large mole was located and that she that she was fair-skinned and not a Singaporean. He kept on looking at the cards and moving his head(I thought he looked rather exasperated for a fortune teller!). He kept repeating 'mai lah, mai lah'(don't, don't)...that the girl had boyfriends...all this from the cards!
Needless to say, that woke me up, like a spell broken. I had a letter written to her to apologise that we could no longer meet. I may have hurt her too. I accepted that.

Sorry, I am not able to give fortune teller's address...it has been many years and I do not frequent fortune tellers.

expensive lesson
by dcindo

$15,000 is a very expensive lesson and you will not be the last. there will be those who like you, when in (love?), will do and spend to protect the (precious?)pussy. But, men will be men...here is wishing that those who get emotionally invovled with a hooker realise the futility of it all early and not after $15,000.
Even if a girl is new to the business, I think that once she has tasted different men, it becomes difficult to walk a straight path even if she sincerely wants to.

I had a massage in Ginza on 18/11. I told this messieur that I would like to book her and she said Rp600K because she had not done it before(of cause she said it with naivety). I said no and resumed out conversation. By the end of the massage, I know she does bj,hj,st, has a one-year old child whom she visits on Mondays, an American chinese mid-age man who likes her, been to Singapore, and much more.

Costs
by alan

Hi Joe,

Just a brief summary of my experiences;-

1)House/room
U can always ask ur gal to look for 1 as they r local & less chances of being cheated. Market rate should be like if it is nearer to the town, more exp. lah. Further away like batam centre is of course cheaper. Basic $ guidelines;-
>House/apartment-2 rooms,living & kitchen room
-S$300/month(Ramayana)
-S$200-300/mth(suburban house)
-uitilities paid differs.
>1 room - with bathroom only.
- S$100-150/mth (with/out air-con)
- utilities paid

> 'Startup costs'
- Wardrobes & bedrobes - S$400
- TV / VCD player - S$300
- Utensils - S$100

> Marketing & food expense - S$100
> Her allowances - S$200-S$300
> Your transport to the island - S100-S$150
> Rainy days allowances(eg. hospitalisation,clinic) - S$150
> Your enjoyment cost whenever u r there - S$50- S$100 per time.

Hope u understand it & of course individual spends differently & it all boils down to how much u love her.....

Regards!!!

Query
by Fat Joe

Dear Alan,

Thanks for your valuable information.

I am interested to share a house with you and with Sebastian/Samuel if you do not mind the size. How about considering a three room apartment.

Please advise:
1. when do you intend to look for a new house?
2. whether do we need to sign a contract for a min. of one year?
3. how much to pay as a downpayment? Is it one year rental out-front to pay the owners?
4. Or is the rental paid on monthly basis, like in our Singapore context whereby our tenants will pay us on monthly basis?

Thanks!

Tenant Bears Utilities
by Caprio

Nah, the tenant has to pay for the utilities monthly. Landlord will give u the bills from the various authorities (Water, electricity, telephone) each month. Generally, the amount is about Rp100K in total.

Plenty for S$150+ per month BUT..
by Ong

Lousy nieghbourhoods and lousy security in that price bracket. Likely to have problems with unreliable electric and water too.

Security is the biggest problem. Better to get a house where many people live. Houses with only one or 2 residents get broken into.

Ways there are a few
by Caprio

Yeah. You could house your girl in a hostel for about Rp400K (with Aircon) or Rp300K or less (without Aircon). However, personally I felt that the environment of the hostels are generally not for living conditions. You may also put her in one of those make-shift wooden houses in the kampong areas, which will cost about Rp250K a month. For this amount of rent, you get electricity, but no water supply. I did this once. You will not want to stay overnight in any of these though.
Here's an alternative. Remember the house that I mentioned to you at Baloi Mas/Anggrek Permai? I have a small room available. It's the servant's room and only enough for a single bed and a cupboard. I'm willing to rent it out, but subject to the agreeability of the girls. (Sometimes, girls don't get along well within the same house).
