Jansens service
by tIGerbeerISgood

Has he ever ripped someone off ???
Has he overcharged someone???
Lot of Rectums popping off without knowing the facts, can you highlight your complains in a civilized manner??? Instead of saying only that his service is bad, what in particular is bad??
If he gets commission from the establishments, I dont see nothing wrong with that, dont forget, he is not getting paid by anyone for hauling a bunch of nitwitts around in his car, after he fixes them up with girls, they buy him a beer, fellows, that is not going to get it.

He has expenses too. As far as removing negative comments about Jensen, I guess the moderator does it because of the language used, just look at the headings now.......
If there is any negative criticism on him,I would like to know, because I trust him and I like his services.

Planning to use Jansen next visit
by Vic

I have observed the messages here and I can see why each of us would side one way or the other. I have been to TJ three times now and I have always used hotel taxis extensively. Jansen sounds like a bargin!! Willingness to provide the necessary service is affect by potential reward i.e., commissions, tips, etc. I can tell you that many of the hotel taxis don't speak english and only want to go to certain places. I spent over 1 million rupias per visit on taxis service alone. I have always had to insisted on what I want. Let's try to understand Jansen for what he is... a man trying to earn a living. If we insist on service I'm sure we'll get it. I been to Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, UAE, Guam and Singapore and I'll have to ask, what guide is not getting something out of providing a service. Each us individually decide if the price is right.

Agree with u
by Peter
As Lim pointed out in his post, Jansen's services are good for those unfamiliar with Batam and the language. and his services are a bargain. . .to those who can afford it. But there are people on a budget who mistakenly thinks that he can be used to undercut the taxi commission without tipping him. He needs to make a living too.

So I think the message should be clear regarding Jansen's services. He needs to have his commission. If you're on a budget, don't use him.

I'm sure we can all help u guys out in recommending budget hotels, etc.

Jansen service is not for everyone

by Pat

Since the economic crisis, the Rupiah has depreciated the most against Western currencies - 70-80% against the American dollar. 270 000 Rp booking with comm. = US $30.

So some foks can afford Jansen and good tips. . and at the same time call others cheap.

horizon by Ah Song

Last friday, I went to Batam for happenings. I book ferry plus hotel from wtc @ s$105 including tax.
When I arrive in Batam, hotel staff was there at the jetty and fetch me to the hotel (free ride). The staff also told me about the places to go for happenings.
After checking in, I ask the driver to drive me around Nagoya and check out the happening places. I went into Queen, many gals at young age. Some out of shape but most ok. Having no choice I decided to move on...
At Dynasty, well number of gals and most babes r good. But, I was sploit got choice agian man!

Then the hotel taxi driver suggested me to Horizon, a choice for Jansen. Went in, very very few gals. MOst very bad. MOst r mothers with one or two baies. But, as I was tired I decided to book a babe there. I got Mulan, age 22, mother of one baby from Java. After a simple bargian with mamy, I paid her 220,000 R. (must cheaper then Jansen's price of 270,000 R heard from taxi driver) . I paid the hotel taxi driver 50,000 R for all his excellent guide.
She basically come here to earn a living from the factories on Batam but was lured into sales business. Her BY and FJ was Fucking Good man.

Total expenses including movie, dinner, tidbits etc was S$200. cheers.

Food for thoughts
by tIGerbeerISgood
I'am not surprised to read your sad story, in order to give you some advice, look at the following:

1. Friday night, how many males did you see in wtc or on your ferry?????
2. You could not find what you were looking for in Queens or Dynasty????
3.Horizon had very few girls????
4. Jansens price, (expensive)????
5. Taxi driver 50.000 tip????
I. Friday night and the weekend evenings are not the best time to look for girls. You probably saw hundreds of males at the wtc going to Batam for the same reason as you. The smart ones go from the ferry to look for girls and THEN to the hotel. (During weekdays this is not necessary)
II. You could not find what you looking for in Queens or Dynasty, there are usually plenty of Honeys there
III. According to your report, you visited other "hapening" places first. You must have got to Horizon just before closing time, otherwise I cannot explain why there were only "very few girls" Usually they got a nice selection there. Did you ever go to Newton Circus just before the Hawker stalls close? Most of the food is sold out the leftovers they give to the stray dogs, because they could not sell it.
IV. Jansen got me a beauty from Horizon, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon (270.000Rp.)she stayed with me till the next day, at 1 o'clock I called Jansen to arrange for me to keep her for an other night, which he did promptly, without hassle.
You have to understand, he does not get paid by anyone to haul a bunch of horny dickheads around in his car for free, he must make a living too. You complain about 50.000Rp.? I think it is a reasonable price for his services.
V.Dont you know that Taxi drivers get their commision from the establishment when they bring a customer? He probably got his 50.000 out of your 220.000Rp. plus you gave him an other 50.000 I trust that you gave the the girl some tip and taxi money the next day, if she was really that good. Did you ?????
As for me, I prefer the arrangement with Jansen, also the chances that the girls will steal from you are zero, because they know, he will track them down.
So, next time before popping off......... PUT THE BRAIN IN GEAR, BEFORE YOU LET YOUR FINGERS DO THE TYPING

hey man,I can't help but be impressed by your command of the english language because most of the stuff written in this forum are like being type by primary school kids!anyway,I have not been to Batam since Nov 98 and I would like to checkout the latest happening of the nightlife in there.I used to go to Tanjung Pinang but I find it too far away(the journey takes about 2 hrs),then I started going to Tanjung Balai because it is cheaper and much nearer than T.P.I don't have any kaki's who frequent Batam so I hope one day we can make arrangements to go there together.I really want to check out the place and the girls of course!!Hope to hear from you soon.
